Role Description
Responsible for sales growth in consumer channels such as traditional trade. The role focuses on sales execution, customer engagement, and in-market activation, working under the guidance of a Sales Manager to ensure Signify products achieve visibility, availability, and sell-out performance.
Key Areas of Responsibility

This role is responsible for sales execution with a short-term and medium-term orientation.

Delivers assigned financial targets and executes channel and customer sales plans within the assigned territory or accounts, achieving revenue, volume, and distribution targets.

Manages day-to-day relationships with distributors, retailers, and store personnel to ensure product presence, planogram compliance, and promotions implementation.

Establishes strong customer intimacy and nurtures relationships with key customer contacts through frequent and productive sales visits. Supports customers with queries and ensures prompt response to customers' needs and issues.

During customer visits responsible for ensuring stock availability, collect orders, manage product range and mix, sell-in, in-store activity, demand creation activity.

Monitors in-store visibility, pricing, and merchandising compliance. Reports on competitor activities and market trends.

Closely collaborates with relevant Key Account Managers and cross-functional Signify team (Supply Chain, Trade Marketing, Customer Service, etc.) to ensure product availability and smooth execution.

Supports trade marketing programs, promotions, and product launches to drive sell-out growth.

Actively develops and maintains up-to-date knowledge of Signify’s product portfolio, lighting technologies, and value propositions. Continuously builds sales, negotiation, and customer engagement skills through learning initiatives, on-the-job experience, and coaching to enhance overall sales effectiveness and professionalism.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field to provide foundational knowledge in sales and customer relationship management.

Minimum 3 years of direct sales experience in consumer goods, electrical trade, or FMCG. Proven success in achieving sales targets and managing distributor/retailer relationships. Should have experience in successful implementation of promotions and delivering outcomes. Must have managed merchandisers and daily implementation of the merchandising calendar.

Sales and trade marketing trainings or certifications.
