Role Description
The Sales Specialist is responsible for developing and executing successful sales strategies for rapid revenue growth and market share expansion in territory. This role will work collaboratively with Sales, Service and applications counterparts to achieve Leica Biosystems performance targets while exceeding customer expectations.
This position reports to the Regional Sales Manager and is part of the Digital Pathology sales team in the Southeast Region of the United States, and will work remotely but must reside in one of these locations: Tennessee, Kentucky, or North Carolina.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

Achieve annual product sales goals set for the territory while working in coordination with the local assigned team within their territory.

Maintain accurate and timely opportunity funnel and customer data in SFDC with coaching as needed.

Achieve high levels of customer satisfaction through delivery of sales and support assistance, and coordinate product demos, installs, and customer training with support from manager and/or mentor.

Work with prospective and current customers to increase Leica Biosystems' influence and presence across territories.

Monitor and develop awareness of competitive activities and strategies.
Qualifications

Education: Bachelor of Arts or Bachelor of Science OR equivalent work experience.

Minimum 3+ years relevant sales (or equivalent experience).

Prior capital sales experience.

Experience with Salesforce.com or other CRM software.

Experience with Microsoft Office including Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Requirements

Ability to travel β 50-75% overnight.

Must have a valid driverβs license with an acceptable driving record and the ability to travel overnight for territory coverage (if applicable) and/or for company meetings.

Ability to lift, move or carry equipment up to 50lb.

Ability to walk, sit, stand, use hand to finger, handle or feel objects, tools, or controls; reach with hands and arms; balance, stoop, bend, talk and hear.

Specific vision abilities required by the job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and the ability to adjust focus.

This position will require heavy travel by car and flying in and out of airports with possible long wait times.

Annual salary range $119,000 - $138,000.
