Role Description
As a Global Demand Planning Lead, you will be responsible for managing all forecasting activities associated with customers and products, and directing the demand planning team to create and maintain forecast models for customers, incorporating business intelligence and forecast information gathered from multiple sources.

Develop the SKU-level demand plan for their region, customers, and products.

This plan becomes the key input into the Global S&OP process that is then rolled up against the global supply plan.

Act as the conduit back to sales on supply/delivery constraints.
What You Will Do
-
Develop and maintain SKU-level demand plans for assigned regions, customers, channels, and product groups.

Prepare statistical and judgmental forecasts across multiple planning horizons using historical performance, commercial inputs, promotions, product lifecycle changes, and market information.

Support monthly demand reviews by preparing analyses and documenting assumptions, risks, opportunities, decisions, and follow-up actions.

Partner with Sales, Marketing, Finance, Product Management, Supply Planning, and regional teams to gather input and support the development of an aligned demand plan.

Monitor forecast accuracy, forecast bias, value-add performance, and demand adherence; analyze root causes and recommend corrective actions.

Identify demand risks and opportunities and develop scenarios to support planning decisions.

Provide visibility into supply constraints and recovery plans to support customer and commercial discussions.

Support the use and adoption of forecasting tools, business intelligence solutions, automation, and predictive analytics.
Qualifications
-
Bachelor’s degree in supply chain management, Operations, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or a related field.

Relevant experience in demand planning, forecasting, Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP), supply chain planning, or related discipline.

Experience developing forecasts at the SKU, customer, region, or product-family level.

Strong analytical skills, including advanced Excel capabilities and the ability to translate data into business insights.

Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain forecast changes, risks, and recommendations.
Bonus Points if You Have

Experience with SAP ERP, SAP Integrated Business Planning (IBP), and/or SAP S/4HANA.

Experience with Power BI or comparable business intelligence and data visualization tools.

Exposure to artificial intelligence (AI), predictive analytics, machine learning, or demand-sensing methodologies.

Experience working within a global or matrixed organization.

Knowledge of Sales, Finance, Marketing, Product Management, Supply Planning, and related business functions.
