Role Description
As a Sales Operations Engineer within XTIUM’s Deal Desk organization, you will play a pivotal role in supporting our sales teams by delivering accurate and timely price quotations for our Core Services Offerings. You will coordinate sales opportunities, maintain process documentation, and manage RFx history to ensure seamless Deal Desk operations. Leveraging your technical expertise across our service portfolio, you will collaborate with operational teams to guide the solution review process and ensure alignment with customer needs and business goals.
Job Responsibilities

Create detailed and accurate price quotations for XTIUM’s Core Services Offerings by interpreting and reviewing Salesforce opportunities and requests for pricing.

Execute deal crafting strategies using established service and pricing guidelines to align solutions with customer needs.

Lead cross-functional collaboration with sales, operations, and technical teams to design and validate solutions that meet customer requirements.

Maintain and update Deal Desk documentation in SharePoint and Salesforce, ensuring all cost models, proposals, Statements of Work (SOWs), and process templates are organized and accessible.

Collaborate directly with customers and sales teams to qualify, scope, solution, and present tailored opportunities that align with business objectives.

Coordinate solution review processes, identifying and communicating win strategies with Solution Sales Executives to drive deal success.

Assist in the preparation and analysis of sales data for executive meetings, supporting the Deal Desk Lead with strategic insights.

Manage the team’s response timeliness by monitoring and supporting key performance indicators (KPIs) to improve overall efficiency.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure all SOWs, proposals, and RFP responses are current, compelling, and aligned with XTIUM’s service offerings.

Participate in internal customer onboarding meetings to provide solution insights and ensure seamless project handoffs.
Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, Business, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).

1–3 years of experience in a Sales Engineering, Technical Sales, Pre-Sales, or similar technical support role within the IT managed services industry.

Technical knowledge across XTIUM’s core service areas, including Cloud Solutions (DaaS, IaaS, Azure), Unified Communications (VOIP), Contact Center as a Service (CCaaS), Managed Network Services, and Managed Security Services (MDR, XDR, EDR).

Proficiency with Salesforce (or similar CRM systems) for managing opportunities and maintaining accurate sales documentation.

Strong understanding of pricing models, solution design, and the sales process in a technical environment.

Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical solutions into clear business value for customers and internal teams.

Detail-oriented with strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects and meeting deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams, including sales, operations, and technical teams, to develop and present tailored solutions.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and collaboration tools like Teams and SharePoint for documentation management.

Relevant industry certifications are a plus (e.g., Microsoft Azure, Cisco CCNA, Fortinet NSE, Palo Alto Networks PCNSA).
Requirements

The salary range for this position is $75,000 - $95,000/annually.

Compensation may vary outside of this range depending on a number of factors, including a candidate's qualifications, skills, competencies, experience, and location.
