Role Description

Sales Manager- Personal Care, Food & Pharma China

• Ensure compliance with safety rules, educate teams on preventive measures to achieve safety objectives.
• Lead the Imerys personal care, food & Pharma business development related workload in China, including:
  • Customer calls and trials
  • Weekly and monthly updates
  • Sampling and follow up
• Promote personal care, food & pharma related business development in the market, especially for new products.
• Provide basic technical support and drive new product or business development in China.
• Coordinate with customer service, finance, operation departments, and other BAs for all business and marketing related activities.
• Collect market information, national policy, competitor analysis, and communicate with supervisor and management team.
• Lead and coordinate personal care, food & pharma related conferences, seminars, and shows in China.
• Prepare required reports, technical documents, or other paperwork.
• Utilize CRM and sales force tools in daily work.
• Complete ad-hoc tasks assigned by the line manager.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 3 years working experience in the personal care, food & pharma industry or related background.
• Preferred background in food and pharma, personal care industry, sales, or marketing.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills with integrity.
• Good spoken and written English and Chinese.
• Independent with basic troubleshooting skills, self-starter.
• Ability to deliver results with an efficient sales process.
• Willingness to take frequent business travel and organize travel plans efficiently.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, including negotiation.
• Ability to positively influence others without direct reporting lines.
• Proven leadership and motivational skills to drive a sales team and achieve expected results.
• Advanced problem-solving skills.
• Strategic thinking, result-oriented, concern for impact.
• Highly motivated and resourceful self-motivator.
• Taste for challenges - entrepreneurial mentality.
• Strong multi-tasking and time management skills.
• Salesforce skills would be an advantage.
• Mandatory use of English (technical and commercial).
• Driving license required.

Requirements

• Regular and weekly trips (up to 60%).
