Role Description

The Sales Manager Nutritional & Functional Ingredients will drive business development and sales activities across South Eastern Europe. This role focuses exclusively on selling raw materials, active ingredients, phytonutrients, standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates to B2B clients in the Food, Cosmetic, and Pharmaceutical industries. This position does not involve selling finished consumer products to retailers, pharmacies, or end-consumer channels.

  • Business Development and sales growth across the Nutritional Supplements, Cosmetical, and Functional Food sectors.
  • Selling phytonutrients, standardized herbal extracts, specialty fine chemicals, and organic intermediates to B2B customers in Food, Pharma, and Cosmetics.
  • Managing and expanding relationships with supplement manufacturers, CMOs, and ingredient buyers.
  • Travelling approximately 50% of the time to meet customers across the region.
  • Representing the company’s scientific and technical excellence in customer interactions.

Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years of B2B sales experience in Food Ingredients / Nutritional Supplements.
  • Strong commercial background in sales & marketing.
  • A scientific degree in food technology, biochemistry, chemistry, pharmacy, biology, or a comparable field.
  • Fluent in English and relevant local languages.
  • Highly sales-driven, proactive, and comfortable working independently in a home-office setup.
  • Experience selling supplements to Food, Cosmetic, and Pharmaceutical clients in ISEE is essential.
  • Experience selling to Contract Manufacturing Companies or working for a CMO is a strong advantage.
