[Hiring] Sales Manager @Avero

Role Description

We are partnering with an established manufacturer seeking a Sales Manager to lead its next phase of growth. This person will develop a new-business strategy, strengthen the sales team, and build relationships with customers who need engineered products and precision machining capabilities. This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys opening doors, developing people, and turning a growth plan into measurable results.

• Build and execute a sales strategy focused on new customers, applications, and markets.
• Lead, coach, and hold accountable a team of business development and customer relationship professionals.
• Personally develop strategic customer and distributor relationships, including domestic and international opportunities.
• Identify opportunities to grow sales of engineered products and precision machined components.
• Establish sales goals, manage the pipeline and forecast, and partner with leadership on pricing and margins.
• Work closely with engineering, manufacturing, and quality teams to match customer needs with technical capabilities.

Qualifications

• Experience leading sales or business development in a manufacturing environment, with a track record of winning new business.
• Background selling engineered products such as actuators, fluid power, hydraulic systems, motion control products, or related components.
• Mechanical aptitude and the ability to discuss drawings, specifications, and customer applications with technical teams.
• Experience building a sales strategy, developing a team, and creating accountability around prospecting and pipeline activity.
• Financial judgment involving forecasts, pricing, margins, and commercial negotiations.
• Experience working with distributors, international customers, or contract machining opportunities.

Requirements

• Work arrangement: The role is remote after an initial onsite training period.
• Periodic onsite visits are expected throughout the year for leadership meetings, team collaboration, and training.
• The position also involves substantial customer travel, including some international travel.
