[Hiring] Sales Manager @RHI Magnesita

Role Description

In this role, you are responsible for developing and expanding our business with customers in the steel industry across Eastern Germany. You’ll drive growth by identifying new business opportunities and strengthening long-term partnerships across our full refractory product portfolio. As a trusted partner and ambassador, you act as key interface between our customers and our company, contributing directly to our commercial success. This role is field-based, with approximately 60–70% travel within Germany, and occasional international customer visits.

• Developing and executing customer-specific strategies to grow business and market share in Eastern Germany
• Identifying and acquiring new business opportunities within the steel industry
• Managing key customer relationships and acting as the main point of contact
• Driving the full sales cycle including negotiations, offers, and contract management
• Collaborating with Technical Marketing and R&D to implement and roll out new products

Qualifications

• Degree in Ceramics, Metallurgy or similar, OR several years of equivalent professional experience in steel production and refractory products
• Open, communicative personality with a structured, independent working style
• Strong MS Office and SAP skills
• Driver’s license (Class B) – company car provided
• Languages: German – fluent, English – fluent
