Role Description
We are seeking a Regional Sales Manager to join our Flow Cytometry team supporting the Western US. This leader will oversee a high‑performing sales team and collaborate cross‑functionally to deliver meaningful impact across the organization. This role is part of the Flow Cytometry Sales Leadership team, reporting to the Senior Manager of Flow Cytometry Sales for North America, and is a fully remote position on the West Coast.
In this role you will be responsible for:

Deploy sales quotas and objectives across the region to achieve above‑market growth and deliver budgeted performance.

Monitor competitive market share, analyze win/loss trends, and maintain a deep understanding of competitive selling strategies.

Represent the organization in customer negotiations, trade shows, seminars, conferences, and other key engagements.

Collaborate closely with Product Line Regional Sales Managers to implement disciplined, scalable, and repeatable business processes across the region.

Oversee quotation, contract, and discount approvals within authorized thresholds to ensure regional sales and margin targets are met.

Develop and mentor direct reports, maintain an active succession plan, and lead the performance‑for‑growth process for the entire team.

Champion Danaher core values and DBS, driving active engagement in achieving company growth objectives.

Continuously channel Voice of the Customer (VOC) insights into the business to ensure customer needs remain central.

Advocate for product quality, deliver outstanding customer solutions, and maintain a strong focus on elevating customer satisfaction.
Qualifications

BA or BS degree in Science, Chemistry, Biology or Environmental Science or related discipline. MS/MBA preferred.

5+ years of experience in life sciences sales in North America with preferably a deep knowledge and understanding of Clinical, Biopharma, Academic markets within Flow Cytometry.

Proven track record of complexity hardware sales success preferably leading Sales teams for high complexity hardware.

Relevant experience in mentorship and coaching environments with a demonstrated ability to create followership through collaboration as well as ability to work collaboratively cross functionally.

Strong analytical skills, problem solving attitude and solid business acumen.

Ability to work in a demanding, fast-paced and action-oriented environment.
Requirements

Ability to travel – 50% travel, overnight within your territory or other locations.

Must have valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
