[Hiring] Sales Manager @Orion Engineered Carbons

Role Description

We are seeking a highly self-driven Sales Manager to lead and represent our carbon black business in Taiwan, operating with full ownership and autonomy in a fully remote setup. In this stand-alone role, you will act as the trusted local face of our company, building long-term, relationship-based partnerships in a market that values reliability, responsiveness, and mutual respect.

• Build and nurture trusted relationships with customers, partners, and local stakeholders.
• Ensure compliance with local regulations and internal policies.
• Proactively manage legal, financial, and reputational risks.
• Capture customer demand across applications, grades, packaging, and volumes.
• Identify and develop new business opportunities.
• Position products confidently against competitors and support market launches.
• Manage inquiries and support sampling processes.
• Contribute to trainings, workshops, and industry associations.

Qualifications

• Degree in chemistry, polymer science, or chemical engineering.
• Extensive experience in technical or solution-based sales, ideally in multinational environments.
• Fluent communication in both English and Chinese, written and spoken.
• Strong sales track record and established network within relevant industries.
• Strong digital and analytical capabilities, including MS Office tools; familiarity with SAP and Salesforce is a plus.
• Willingness to travel frequently (around 50–60%) and manage business travel independently.
