Role Description

The Regional Sales Manager, Latin America is responsible for managing, coaching/developing, selecting, and terminating distributors for Radiometer, in addition to selective go-direct efforts. The tools to deliver this growth are:

  • Working with distributors to drive growth in the markets with the full Radiometer portfolio.
  • Obtaining regulatory market access for new additions to the Radiometer product lines.
  • Collaborating with Radiometer Corporate to build effective campaigns and promote the knowledge of POC testing.
  • Collaborating with local LATAM Danaher Diagnostic resources to find synergies.
  • Building strong business cases supporting investments in the channel(s).

This position reports to the Regional General Manager and is part of the commercial LATAM team in Radiometer Americas located in Sao Paolo, Brazil and will be working remotely to cover Brazil and the rest of the LATAM Region.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to:

  • Establish coherent and state-of-the art sales strategy and tactics for the region, considering competitive intelligence.
  • Optimize the sales group, field force structure, and sales channel setup to support the regional needs and allocate resources to regional priorities.
  • Drive top-line through coordination, training and allocation of distributor and field force.
  • Work collaboratively across functions including marketing, and customer service to manage sales resource demands.
  • Ensure the development of pre-launch sales plans for all new products within the planning horizon.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Administration or a technical background as a Bioengineer.
  • Long standing experience in developing innovative sales strategies, managing both direct sales force and channel routes to market, profit and loss management, achieving commercial growth, and in international and matrix managed environments.
  • Knowledge of the diagnostics product market in Latin America.
  • Fluent in verbal and written English, Spanish and Portuguese.

Requirements

  • Availability of international trips up to 50 days per year within the region, flexible schedule.
