[Hiring] Sales Head, Consent Management Platform @Appsierra Group

Role Description

We are seeking a Sales Head to lead the growth of our Consent Management Platform (CMP) built for India's DPDP. This role will drive B2B SaaS sales across multiple verticals and own revenue targets.

• Own a revenue quota and build a pipeline of mid‑market and enterprise accounts across BFSI, fintech, e‑commerce, healthcare, telecom and D2C.
• Engage compliance‑driven buying committees (DPO, CISO, CIO/CTO, General Counsel, CMO, procurement) to sell the DPDP‑ready consent stack.
• Conduct discovery workshops mapping data flows and consent touchpoints against DPDP and the Rules.
• Deliver tailored demos and PoCs, including multilingual consent notices, withdrawal flows and data‑principal rights requests.
• Position our solution against global CMPs and alternative approaches, highlighting local hosting, integration and cost advantages.
• Build channel partnerships with Big 4 firms, boutique privacy consultancies, system integrators and cloud marketplaces.
• Manage complex deals through legal, security questionnaires and RFPs, and expand accounts post‑go‑live with additional modules.

Qualifications

• 10+ years of quota‑carrying B2B SaaS sales experience in India, with deals of ₹25 lakh+ ACV.
• Minimum 3 years selling cybersecurity, data‑privacy, GRC or RegTech solutions.
• Working knowledge of the DPDP Act and Rules, including consent, notice and data‑principal rights.
• Established network of CISOs, DPOs, CIOs or compliance heads in at least one target vertical.
• Proven ability to run multi‑stakeholder enterprise sales cycles (3–9 months) involving legal and InfoSec review.
• Proficiency with consultative sales methodologies (MEDDICC, Challenger, SPIN) and disciplined CRM use (Salesforce, HubSpot or Zoho).

Requirements

• Privacy certifications such as CIPP/E, CIPM, CIPT, ISO 27701 Lead Implementer.
• Prior experience selling a global CMP or privacy platform to Indian enterprises.
• Familiarity with related sector regulations (RBI, SEBI, IRDAI, TRAI, Account Aggregator framework).
• Experience building partner‑led pipelines with consulting firms or system integrators.
