[Hiring] Sales Executive @MVC Resources

Role Description

Our client is a leading global brand in printing, imaging, and IT peripheral solutions, with a strong presence across the Malaysian market. We are looking for a motivated Sales Executive to manage and grow the company's business across Sabah. This is a field-based B2B sales role suited for candidates with experience selling IT equipment, computer peripherals, printing solutions, or related technology products. The successful candidate will be responsible for:

• Developing and growing sales across the assigned Sabah territory.
• Managing and strengthening relationships with existing dealers, resellers, distributors, and channel partners.
• Identifying and developing new business opportunities to achieve assigned sales targets.
• Conducting regular customer and channel partner visits throughout Sabah.
• Covers both urban and rural areas across Sabah as required.
• Presenting products, solutions, promotions, and sales programmes to customers and channel partners.
• Working closely with dealers and resellers to drive product sales and market penetration.
• Monitoring market trends, competitor activities, pricing, and customer requirements.
• Preparing and submitting regular sales reports, market updates, and sales forecasts.
• Coordinating closely with the Channel Sales Manager based in Petaling Jaya.
• Supporting product launches, roadshows, exhibitions, dealer activities, and other sales initiatives.
• Ensuring timely follow-up on customer enquiries and business opportunities.
• Traveling extensively within Sabah to support customers and expand the company's market presence.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of sales experience within the IT industry.
• Experience selling IT equipment, computer peripherals, printers, printing solutions, or related technology products is preferred.
• Experience managing dealers, resellers, distributors, or channel partners will be an added advantage.
• Strong presentation and communication skills.
• Comfortable preparing sales reports and providing regular updates to management.
• Good interpersonal and relationship-building skills.
• Self-motivated, independent, and able to work effectively in a home-based role.
• Willing to travel extensively throughout Sabah, including rural and remote areas.
• Possess a valid driving licence and own transportation.
• Able to work independently while maintaining regular communication with the Channel Sales Manager based in Petaling Jaya.
