Role Description
Our client, a growing educational and technology organization, is seeking an experienced Sales Engineering & Solutions Instructor to teach and mentor students on technical sales, solution consulting, customer engagement, and practical strategies for becoming successful Sales & Solutions Engineers. This role is ideal for an experienced sales engineer, solutions consultant, or technical business professional who is passionate about teaching and sharing real-world industry knowledge with aspiring sales and technology professionals.

Deliver engaging training sessions on sales engineering, solution selling, and customer-focused technology consulting.

Teach students how to identify customer needs and recommend suitable technical or business solutions.

Guide students on technical presentations, product demonstrations, proposal development, and solution-based selling strategies.

Share practical experiences, case studies, and real-world sales engineering project insights with students.

Teach students how to bridge the gap between technical teams and business stakeholders effectively.

Train students on customer discovery, requirements gathering, solution mapping, and relationship management.

Develop instructional materials, presentations, practical assignments, and hands-on sales simulation exercises.

Facilitate workshops, mock presentations, role plays, and interactive learning sessions.

Mentor students on communication, negotiation, presentation, and consultative selling techniques.

Stay updated on sales technologies, solution engineering trends, SaaS products, and customer engagement strategies.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Engineering, Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred.

Minimum of 4β5 years of practical experience in sales engineering, solutions consulting, technical sales, business development, or related fields.

Strong understanding of consultative selling, customer engagement, and technical solution design.

Experience presenting technical products, SaaS solutions, software platforms, or business systems to clients or stakeholders.

Strong communication, presentation, negotiation, and relationship-building abilities.

Ability to explain technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.

Experience with CRM platforms, presentation tools, and virtual collaboration systems.

Excellent mentoring, coaching, and facilitation skills.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and customer-focused thinking abilities.

Must be legally authorized to work in the USA or Canada.
Requirements

Experience delivering workshops, sales training, or mentoring programs.
