[Hiring] Sales Engineer @Ruhrpumpen

Role Description

As a Sales Engineer for Morocco, you will provide a single point of contact for all Ruhrpumpen sales & customer support, managing the defined territory and leading strategic focus with regular interface for assigned accounts. Primarily responsible to increase sales, to expand market share and profitably grow all Ruhrpumpen product offerings as well as aftermarket services. This will be achieved with focus on sales of new pump sales (projects, replacements, duplicates), as well as Aftermarket (parts, service, repair and upgrades) through optimization of the defined territory and regular management interaction.

• Single Point of Contact calling on customers in the territory on a regular basis to grow the business in all market segments, per the guidelines established.
• Grow business in all market segments by calling on assigned customers on a regular basis.
• Maintain active communications and relationships with respective In-House personnel, utilizing all available team support to provide viable customer solutions.
• Develop and maintain active relationships with buying influences and develop new relationships to maintain and grow customer/territory interactions.
• Identify and work with customers to understand and define individual needs, expand consequences for not acting, and pay-off/benefits for applying suggested solutions.
• Responsible for territory/customer forecast, budgets, and cost control via company approved systems, methods, and policies.
• Represent all Ruhrpumpen products including non-OEM products as defined in sales strategies.
• Partner with customers to understand project specifications and scope requirements to ensure proposals are generated to meet requirements.
• Recommend changes to Key Account sales strategies/tactics as they are periodically evaluated for effectiveness.
• Negotiate orders, including all technical, commercial, and legal terms and conditions to mutual satisfaction of all parties.
• Provide new pump opportunities to Inside Sale for quoting and specifications.
• Travel to customer locations to ensure close and regular face-to-face contact per company guidelines.
• Entertain customers during and outside normal business hours on a regular basis.
• Participate in Team Selling efforts by passing on sales opportunities/leads generated during daily activities via CRM to Ruhrpumpen OE sales group as defined by commission policy and guidelines.
• Responsible for all customer/territory communications and interactions through daily update in CRM and forecast, which includes industry/market/account competitive analysis to support management strategy development.
• Maintain all company tools in good working order.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Arabic, French, and English (Must)
• Excellent communication skills: ability to communicate ideas, concepts, solutions, customer pay-back at all levels of the customer’s organization at a high professional level.
• Previous commercial experience in the pump industry.
• API Experience.
• Availability and willingness to travel to customer locations up to 50% of the time.
• Ability to manage a sales territory, develop and execute individual business plans.
