Role Description
The Sales Development Specialist plays a critical role in fueling pipeline growth by identifying new business opportunities and engaging both prospective and current customers. This role is ideal for a driven, curious professional who thrives in a fast-paced, goal-oriented environment and enjoys building relationships. You will partner closely with Sales and Marketing to generate qualified leads, strengthen customer engagement, and support revenue growth.
What Youβll Do

Proactively identify and engage prospective customers through research, outreach, and networking

Generate new business opportunities via cold calls, email campaigns, and social selling

Qualify inbound and outbound leads to assess needs, timing, and fit

Re-engage current customers to drive satisfaction, retention, and upsell/cross-sell opportunities

Manage and track leads through the sales pipeline, ensuring consistent follow-up and progression

Partner with Regional Account Managers to align on strategy and successfully transition qualified leads

Represent the company at industry trade shows to build relationships, capture new leads, and drive timely follow-up to convert opportunities

Leverage Salesforce (or CRM tools) to document activities, manage pipeline, and maintain data integrity

Stay informed on market trends, competitors, and industry developments

Report on outreach activity, pipeline health, and key performance metrics
Qualifications

0β3 years of experience in sales, business development, or a customer-facing role

Strong communication skills (written, verbal, and interpersonal)

Comfortable with outbound prospecting, including cold calling

Experience using CRM tools (Salesforce or similar)

Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities

Self-motivated with a results-driven mindset
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, or related field (preferred)
