Role Description

The Sales Development Representative (SDR) plays a key role in generating new business opportunities and supporting the sales pipeline. This position focuses on identifying potential clients, conducting outreach, qualifying leads, and scheduling qualified appointments for the sales team.

• Conduct outbound outreach through cold calls, emails, and social media to engage potential clients.
• Identify and research potential prospects and business opportunities.
• Follow up with leads generated through marketing campaigns and other sources.
• Qualify prospects based on established criteria.
• Book qualified appointments for Business Development Representatives, Sales Representatives, Sales Engineers, or other members of the sales team.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date information in CRM systems.
• Assist in executing outbound prospecting strategies and marketing campaigns.
• Track lead activity, follow-ups, appointments, and conversions.
• Prepare weekly reports on lead generation, campaign performance, conversion rates, and other key sales metrics.
• Ensure accurate documentation and reporting of all lead management activities.
• Consistently meet assigned outreach, activity, and appointment-setting targets.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in Sales Development, Business Development, Lead Generation, Appointment Setting, or a similar role.
• Strong ability to conduct cold calls and convert prospects into qualified appointments.
• Experience using CRM systems and marketing automation platforms.
• Excellent organizational and time-management skills.
• Strong verbal and written English communication skills; near-native proficiency preferred.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to manage multiple tasks, meet deadlines, and follow a structured sales cadence.
• Self-motivated, proactive, and results-driven.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records.
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment.

Requirements

• Experience in B2B sales, professional services, or technology sales.
• Experience working with U.S. or Canada-based clients.
• Background in small-business sales development.
• Familiarity with lead research, database management, prospecting tools, and sales intelligence platforms.
• Experience with outbound sales campaigns and appointment-setting processes.
