[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @AVIAN

Role Description

Your mission is to prevent fires and unplanned downtime that cost industrial companies millions. AVIAN's Swiss-engineered infrared cameras and AI monitoring detect abnormal heat inside industrial facilities at the point of inception.

As part of our founding remote sales team in Germany, you will be the first voice a prospect hears, reporting to the CEO. Your responsibilities include:

• The phones: Start conversations with plant managers, maintenance and reliability leaders, safety leaders, and executive buyers. Use email and LinkedIn to support calls and decide who to target.
• Trade shows: Line up meetings at our booth and follow up with attendees afterward.
• Qualification and handoff: Determine the urgency of the prospect's pain and brief the account executive accordingly.
• Doors into sister sites: Identify contacts at other facilities once one plant is satisfied.
• Your stack: Utilize ZoomInfo, HubSpot, and AI tools like Claude and Artisan for research and outreach.
• The playbook: Document successful strategies and share them with the team.

Success in year one includes:

• Booking meetings that convert into pipeline.
• Building trust with account executives through honest qualification.
• Establishing a repeatable method for engaging plant managers.
• Documenting effective strategies for future SDRs.

Qualifications

• You're a hunter who actively seeks leads.
• Sharp on the phone, able to engage busy plant managers.
• Naturally curious about industrial operations.
• Competitive and coachable, with aspirations for advancement.
• Organized with a clean CRM and disciplined follow-up.
• Proficient in using AI tools for efficiency.
• Experience in SDR, BDR, inside sales, or similar roles.

Requirements
