Role Description
The Sales Development Representative (SDR) is the first point of contact with prospective customers. In this role you will work to generate new sales leads by:

Researching the material handling market

Identifying potential customers

Building initial relationships
You will have support in identifying qualified sales leads through:

Other sales channels
As the SDR, you will:

Communicate directly with customers to assess their needs

Align those needs with Plug product solutions

Collaborate closely with colleagues across Sales, Engineering, and Marketing teams

Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in engineering, marketing, business, or other relevant course of study

Willingness to travel as needed
Requirements

Sales experience with proven success in sales development and generating sales leads

Knowledge and proficiency with Salesforce and lead generation software tools

Dynamic communication abilities; persuasive and energetic

Demonstrated business acumen with ability to articulate value statements in meaningful ways to diverse audiences and stakeholders

Diligent and persistent in lead generation and customer development activities

Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
