[Hiring] Sales Development Representative @Porch Group

Role Description

iRoofing is currently looking for a high-energy and dynamic Sales Development Representative to provide pre-sales support for our team. This role will be responsible for servicing outbound sales calls and related inquiries with a focus on engaging, assessing, and properly qualifying all prospective customers. You will be responsible for notating accounts and setting up demonstrations for the account executives. This role is crucial as it will be the first touchpoint for prospects and has the opportunity to set the tone for the sales cycle. This role will also have opportunities to grow into more senior roles.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of successful experience in telemarketing
• Knowledge of Salesforce is a plus but not required
• Exceptional communication skills in English, both oral and written
• Excellent listening skills and a positive and energetic phone presence
• Demonstrated success in prospecting
• High school diploma or equivalent required

Requirements

• Ambitious self-starter
• Ability to effectively process inbound inquiries and identify qualified leads and opportunities
• Relationship selling skills, with the ability to manage sales calls at varying levels of customer accounts
• Extremely self-motivated with a diligent work ethic
• High level of integrity and a strong commitment to building a successful company
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment
• Adept computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Office and/or Google Docs
• Experience with CRM applications preferred
• Workspace: A quiet space to work, an internet connection of at least 30 Mbps download | 10 Mbps upload
• Equipment: a laptop (or a desktop computer) and an internet connection that meet our minimum requirements
