[Hiring] Relationship Manager - SVP - Commercial Banking @Associated Bank

Role Description

As a Commercial Relationship Manager, you’ll grow and manage a portfolio of middle market commercial clients while deepening relationships across the market. You’ll partner closely with internal teams to deliver tailored financial solutions and drive sustainable growth. This role offers meaningful client impact, market visibility, and opportunities to expand your commercial banking expertise.

• Manage and grow a portfolio of commercial relationships to drive loan, deposit, and fee income growth.
• Drive new business development through client referrals, centers of influence, and proactive prospecting.
• Partner with internal teams to deliver integrated solutions across Treasury Management, Capital Markets, Private Banking, and Wealth Management.
• Analyze financial information to structure sound credit solutions aligned with client needs and bank risk standards.
• Ensure portfolio compliance with credit policy, risk management practices, and regulatory requirements.
• Present credit recommendations and participate in the loan approval process alongside portfolio partners.
• Build community presence by participating in business and community organizations to expand referral networks.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent experience.
• 8+ years of commercial banking or B2B sales experience.
• Strong credit analysis skills and proven client relationship management success.
• Experience with non‑borrowing products and complex commercial relationships.
• Established network of commercial or real estate referral partners.
