Role Description

The Regional Business Manager (f/m/d) Medical Devices is a dynamic and pivotal role responsible for driving business growth for all divisions of Medical Device solutions in EMEA.

  • Proactively identify, develop, and manage a robust sales pipeline within your assigned territory.
  • Regularly travel to customer sites to present Spectrum's offerings and develop new business opportunities.
  • Implement strategic account management practices to maintain and grow relationships with global key accounts.
  • Drive the expansion of business within the assigned territory through targeted strategies.
  • Responsible for growing business with both assigned and new accounts.
  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with key contacts in customer organizations.
  • Conduct thorough market analysis to identify emerging trends, potential customers, and new market opportunities.
  • Develop and execute effective sales strategies tailored to the territory and target markets.
  • Work closely with marketing, product development, and customer service teams to ensure alignment of strategies and customer satisfaction.
  • Lead negotiations and close deals, ensuring profitable and sustainable agreements.
  • Accurately forecast sales targets and work to meet or exceed these goals.
  • Gather customer feedback and market insights to inform product development and marketing strategies.
  • Regularly report on sales activities and pipeline status, providing insightful analysis and action plans.
  • Keep abreast of competitor activities and strategies, adjusting tactics to maintain a competitive edge.
  • Stay updated with the latest industry trends and sales techniques, and participate in relevant training and development programs.

Qualifications

  • Extensive sales experience in the Medical Device field, ideally in polymer-based and complex device markets.
  • Strong industry network with OEMs.
  • Degree in Engineering, Business, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Excellent computer skills, including proficiency in MS Office and CRM software.
  • Experience with Salesforce or similar CRM platforms.
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with various stakeholders.
  • Strong strategic thinking and analytical skills, with a proven ability to develop and implement successful sales strategies.
  • Excellent negotiation and closing skills.
  • Strong customer service orientation and relationship-building skills.
  • Ability to adapt to changing market conditions and business requirements.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment and collaborate with cross-functional teams.

Requirements

  • Requires light physical activity performing non-strenuous daily activities of a managerial nature.
  • Requires periods sitting, using a computer, as well as periods of standing and walking on the manufacturing floor and attending meetings.
  • This position requires ~50% travel across EMEA.
  • Language: English and another European language (German or Italian preferred).
  • Location: Remote.
