Role Description
We are seeking an experienced Pre-Sales Manager to lead our pre-sales function in crafting compelling, technically grounded proposals and solutions that translate Simform's engineering capabilities into measurable client value. This role sits at the intersection of sales, solution architecture, and client engagement. The ideal candidate will deeply understand Simform's co-engineering model and service portfolio, and articulate that value with precision and confidence to enterprise and high-growth technology clients.
Key Responsibilities

Lead the end-to-end development of pre-sales collateral including Proposals, RFPs, RFIs, Statements of Work (SoW), Solution Decks, and Capability Presentations aligned to Simform's offerings.

Translate complex client requirements into clearly scoped engineering solutions spanning custom software development, cloud-native architecture, AI/ML, data platforms, DevOps, and mobile applications.

Maintain a repository of reusable proposal components, case studies, and solution templates mapped to Simform's service lines and industry verticals.

Partner with the sales team during client discovery, solution scoping, and commercial negotiations to ensure pre-sales outputs align with client needs.

Lead client-facing meetings, presentations, and solution workshops β including engagements with C-suite and technical decision-makers β translating technical concepts into executive-ready business value narratives.

Lead, mentor, and grow a dedicated pre-sales team of 5+ professionals (exclusively pre-sales, not post-sales), setting standards for proposal quality, accuracy, and turnaround time.

Collaborate with solution architects and engineering leads to ensure all proposed solutions are technically sound and deliverable.

Stay updated on current capabilities across Microsoft Azure, cloud-native/MACH architectures, Agentic AI, data engineering, DevOps, and mobile and custom software development.

Ensure pre-sales engagements incorporate relevant compliance, security, and governance considerations across key verticals: Fintech, Healthcare & Life Sciences, Retail & E-Commerce, Supply Chain & Logistics, and High-Tech.

Track pre-sales metrics (win rates, proposal quality, deal velocity) and surface insights to sales leadership.
Qualifications

8+ years of experience in pre-sales, ideally within a digital engineering, product engineering, or IT services company.

Bachelorβs or Masterβs degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent field.

Demonstrated experience leading a pre-sales team of 5+ members in a high-growth environment.

Strong working knowledge of:

Cloud platforms: Microsoft Azure

Engineering services: Custom software development, cloud-native applications, microservices, API development, mobile applications (iOS/Android)

Data & AI: Data engineering, AI/ML, Agentic AI, LLMs, analytics platforms

DevOps: CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (IaC), cloud operations

Excellent proposal writing, communication, and executive presentation skills.

Ability to manage multiple concurrent deals across different industries and solution domains.
Preferred Qualifications

Microsoft Azure certifications (particularly in Digital & App Innovation or Data & AI) strongly preferred; other cloud or technology certifications a plus.

Familiarity with Simform's co-engineering model and agile delivery practices.

Experience with MACH architecture principles (Microservices, API-first, Cloud-native, Headless).

Prior exposure to ISV or enterprise software product development contexts.

Industry domain expertise in one or more of: Fintech, Healthcare, Retail & E-Commerce, or Supply Chain.
