Role Description
We're looking for a driven, technically curious Pre-Sales Engineer to join our Sales team. You'll sit at the intersection of product, engineering, and sales β translating complex AI capabilities into clear business value for prospects, running demos that win deals, and helping our sales team sell smarter.
What You'll Do
-
Pre-Sales Engagement
-
Act as the technical and domain expert in customer meetings, addressing functional and technical questions with credibility.
-
Serve as a trusted advisor to prospects by understanding their pain points, workflows, and compliance requirements, and identify challenges early to propose tailored solutions using VIDIZMO's platform and AI services.
-
Product Demonstrations
-
Deliver live and recorded demos of DEMS, EVCM, and our AI solutions that speak to real-world use cases.
-
Proactively reach out to potential customers, including cold outreach, to schedule demos and build pipeline.
-
Enable the broader sales and business development team to run demos independently through training, scripts, and well-maintained demo environments, and keep those assets current as the product evolves.
-
Sales Enablement & Strategy
-
Contribute to sales collateral, use case presentations, competitive comparisons, and proposal responses.
-
Support RFPs and customer documentation that require solution scoping or architecture input, and use feedback from prospect conversations to sharpen our pitch and discovery approach.
-
Opportunity Discovery & Solutioning
-
Partner with business development and marketing to identify high-potential customer segments and outreach strategies.
-
Map customer needs to VIDIZMO's platform and AI services, recommend implementation approaches, and help build pipeline by spotting cross-sell and upsell opportunities.
Qualifications
-
2β5 years of experience in a customer-facing solutions, pre-sales, or technical consulting role (SaaS or enterprise software preferred).
-
Hands-on exposure to video management systems, digital evidence management, or enterprise cloud solutions is a plus.
-
Familiarity with at least one AI domain β computer vision, audio/speech processing, LLMs, or chatbot platforms.
-
Solid understanding of modern enterprise IT, data privacy, and cloud ecosystems (Azure, AWS, or GovCloud).
-
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field required.
Bonus Qualifications
-
Experience presenting to law enforcement, legal tech, or government agencies.
-
Familiarity with compliance frameworks such as CJIS, FedRAMP, GDPR, or HIPAA.
Essential Skills
-
Strong business acumen and the ability to translate objectives into practical solutions, with minimal need for task-level direction.
-
You're expected to use AI tools (e.g., Claude, ChatGPT, Copilot) to work more efficiently, while owning the quality, accuracy, and compliance of everything you deliver β AI-assisted or not.
