Role Description

Cascadia Sales is a growing Independent Manufacturers Representative seeking a relationship-focused Outside Sales Representative to manage and grow our presence in the Thompson-Okanagan and West Kootenay regions. In this role, you will proactively engage with our electrical wholesale customers, electrical contractors, and end users to deliver best-in-class service for our manufacturer partners. You will build lasting relationships by identifying customer needs and providing product expertise to help our partners succeed.

How you'll contribute:

• Be a consultant: Recommend the best products for specific projects by maintaining deep industry and product knowledge.
• Drive Growth: Proactively identify new business opportunities and expand existing accounts within the territory.
• Build Rapport: Utilize your strong relationship-building skills and solution-oriented mindset to foster long-term partnerships.

Qualifications

• Experience in the Electrical and Lighting industry is preferred but not required.
• Dependable, with a consistently optimistic attitude.
• Excellent knowledge of computer applications (Email, Word, Excel).
• Adept at conducting brief, high-impact product demonstrations.
• Diligent organizational skills and a self-starter mindset.
• Valid BC Driver’s License and a reliable vehicle for travel within the territory.

Location

This position is remote. Ideal home-based locations include Kelowna, Vernon, or Penticton. Some overnight travel is required.
