[Hiring] Outside Sales Account Executive @Supply Mavericks

Role Description

This is a remote position. Supply Mavericks is re-imagining how hospitality companies buy the products they need to operate. Hotels are still dealing with slow quotes, poor communication, clunky ordering, and vendors who make simple purchases harder than they should be. We believe purchasing should be radically easier. That is where you come in.

We are looking for a sales professional who knows how to create opportunities, build real relationships, and close business. This is not a sit-and-wait-for-leads sales role. You will:

• Prospect.
• Make calls.
• Build relationships with hotel owners, management companies, general contractors, engineers, and operators.
• Uncover opportunities our competitors miss.

When a customer gives us a shot, your job is to make sure working with Supply Mavericks feels different:

You will start by selling products like PTACs, VTACs, HVAC equipment, TVs, refrigerators, microwaves, and other hospitality products. But the bigger opportunity is becoming a trusted purchasing partner across the customer's entire portfolio.

We are not interested in transactional salespeople. We want someone who thinks long term. Someone who can win the first order, earn the second, and eventually become the person the customer calls first.

What You Will Own

• Building and managing your own book of business.
• Prospecting and creating new opportunities.
• Developing relationships with hospitality ownership and management groups.
• Selling into hotels, contractors, and commercial customers.
• Managing opportunities from first conversation through close.
• Building and maintaining a healthy sales pipeline.
• Following up relentlessly without becoming transactional.
• Identifying additional products and opportunities inside existing accounts.
• Working closely with operations and customer support to deliver an exceptional experience.
• Maintaining accurate activity, notes, and forecasting inside our CRM.
• Protecting both the customer relationship and the profitability of the business.

Hospitality or HVAC experience is helpful. Sales ability is more important. We can teach you the products. We cannot teach hunger, curiosity, accountability, and the ability to make people want to work with you.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in B2B sales, business development, or account management.
• Strong prospecting skills, including phone, email, LinkedIn, referrals, and networking.
• Ability to build and maintain long-term customer relationships.
• Strong consultative selling, negotiation, and closing skills.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong follow-up, organization, and time-management skills.
• Ability to manage a sales pipeline and maintain accurate CRM records.
• Comfortable working independently and being accountable to revenue and activity goals.
• Ability to learn technical products and communicate solutions clearly to customers.
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced, entrepreneurial environment.
• Strong judgment around pricing, customer needs, and opportunity prioritization.
• Willingness to collaborate closely with operations and customer support to ensure a strong customer experience.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in hospitality, HVAC, building products, commercial equipment, or distribution.
• Experience selling to hotel owners, hotel management companies, general contractors, mechanical contractors, or facilities teams.
• Existing relationships within the hospitality industry.
• Experience managing a seven-figure annual sales pipeline or quota.
• Experience using Zoho CRM or a similar CRM platform.
