Are you an experienced ocean freight sales professional with a proven track record of winning new business? Do you thrive on building customer relationships, opening new accounts, and growing international trade lanes?

Fr. Meyer's Sohn (FMS) is seeking an Ocean Freight Sales Manager to drive new business across the U.S./Canada ↔ Europe and India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes. If you're a motivated sales hunter with freight forwarding experience and a passion for international logistics, this is an outstanding opportunity to grow your career while earning uncapped commissions.

• Develop and close new business opportunities for ocean freight services.
• Sell FCL, LCL, and project cargo solutions to importers, exporters, manufacturers, and shippers.
• Build long-term relationships with customers, carriers, and strategic partners.
• Collaborate with pricing and operations teams to deliver competitive logistics solutions.
• Manage a strong sales pipeline and consistently meet or exceed sales goals.
• Monitor freight rates, carrier capacity, and market trends to identify new opportunities.
• Represent FMS at customer meetings, industry events, and networking opportunities.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of ocean freight sales, freight forwarding, or logistics business development experience.
• Proven success generating new business and exceeding sales targets.
• Strong knowledge of Transatlantic and/or India Subcontinent (ISC) trade lanes.
• Experience selling international ocean freight, including FCL and LCL services.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
• Self-driven and comfortable working remotely with minimal supervision.
