Role Description

Stanley 1913 is seeking an experienced, results-driven National Account Sales Manager to manage and grow the company’s business with Walmart and Costco. This role is responsible for developing strong retailer relationships, driving sales and distribution, managing retail programs, and executing strategic plans that increase Stanley’s presence and performance across these key accounts. The ideal candidate understands large-format retail, has strong relationships and experience working with Walmart and/or Costco, and can balance strategic account planning with hands-on execution. Qualifications

• 5+ years of consumer products, retail, or account management experience.
• Experience managing Walmart and/or Costco strongly preferred.
• Strong understanding of mass retail, club retail, merchandising, and retail operations.
• Demonstrated ability to grow large national accounts.
• Excellent negotiation, presentation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
• Strong analytical skills and experience using sales and retail data to make business decisions.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and retail/customer reporting systems.
• Willingness to travel as needed about 25% of the time.

Requirements

• Own the day-to-day business relationship with Walmart and Costco.
• Develop and execute annual account plans designed to deliver sales, distribution, and profitability objectives.
• Build strong relationships with buyers, merchants, replenishment teams, and other key retail stakeholders.
• Manage product assortment, new item launches, promotional programs, pricing, and retail calendars.
• Identify opportunities to expand Stanley 1913 distribution and increase sales velocity.
• Prepare and lead customer presentations, business reviews, line reviews, and planning meetings.
• Analyze sales, inventory, distribution, forecasts, and promotional performance to identify opportunities and risks.
• Partner with internal teams including Marketing, Operations, Supply Chain, Finance, Product, and E-Commerce.
• Monitor inventory and forecasts to help ensure strong in-stock performance and minimize excess inventory.
• Coordinate retailer-specific programs and ensure execution meets customer expectations.
• Track competitive activity, category trends, pricing, and merchandising opportunities.
• Negotiate business opportunities while protecting Stanley’s profitability and brand positioning.
• Develop regular sales forecasts and communicate account performance to senior leadership.
• Travel regularly to customer meetings, headquarters, trade shows, and retail locations as required.
