Role Description
National Account Manager-Walmart will be an active member of the LIV Sales team reporting to the Director, Mass. This role will be responsible for building and executing strategic sales plans for Walmart. Primary focus areas include:

Developing joint business plans (JBPโs)

Working cross-functionally

Meeting and presenting to Walmart personnel

Managing and optimizing trade and marketing spending

Communicating with internal sales functional and Liquid I.V. leadership team members
Walmart is a strategic, growth partner for Liquid I.V. This role will be an expert in their customer and provide LIV Sales leadership with analytical insights and recommendations to grow sales and profitability. Responsibilities include:

Leveraging data and insights to drive base and incremental sales (distribution, shelving, pricing, and promotion)

Communicating the status of the business (monthly, quarterly, yearly)

Assisting in developing annual customer and internal operating plans
The ideal candidate is a self-starter who has the ability to establish and develop customer relationships, is highly analytical, results-driven, and eager to work in a growing, fast-paced company.
Functions and duties of this role include, but are not limited to:

Develop and execute strategic plans to achieve sales and profit targets with assigned customers

Develop analysis and insights to business priorities: innovation sell-in, category reviews, new item tracking, and consumer insights

Influence retailers by identifying areas of growth/problem solving to ensure all goals are achieved

Present and work directly with buyers to understand their business needs, objectives, and marketing opportunities along with presenting innovation

Manage trade spend and co-marketing budgets

Strong analytical skills and experience using internal and external data sources (i.e., IRI, SPINS, Sales Data)

Familiarity with Walmart data platforms is a plus

Utilize data to make promotion and sales recommendations

Manage relationship with brokers and distributors, leveraging longstanding relationships with Walmart

Be the expert of the category-specific landscapes and trends
Qualifications
-
Bachelorโs degree in business or related field
-
6+ years in direct selling role within Consumer Packaged Goods industry
-
2+ years of experience working with Walmart

Growth mindset professionally and personally
-
Familiarity with Walmartโs Luminate and Retail Link tools preferred

Deep understanding of pricing models and cross-channel interaction/risk mitigation
-
Action-oriented with a can-do, positive attitude, inspiring others to adopt a winning attitude

Proven track record of success in meeting or exceeding targets
-
Demonstrate ability to establish, develop, and maintain customer relationships
-
Excellent negotiation, presentation, and verbal/written communication skills

Compensation
The compensation band for this position is $113,500 - $170,300 annually. The exact salary is determined by various factors including experience, skills, education, geographic location, internal company equity, and budget. The listed range is applicable only to the annual base salary and does not include additional perks, benefits, or applicable bonus eligibility comprising the total compensation package.
