Role Description
As an Account Manager – North America Materials Protection, you will play a pivotal role in advancing our commercial strategy within the rapidly evolving plastics market. Based remotely with travel across North America, you will contribute directly to the growth of Arxada’s Materials Protection business by:

Leading the full sales cycle for assigned plastics accounts, including prospecting, technical discussions, value‑based selling, negotiations and closing.

Strengthening strategic customer relationships by conducting regular visits, business reviews and technical collaboration sessions.

Partnering closely with Technical Service, R&D and Product Management to translate customer needs into targeted technical and commercial solutions.

Monitoring industry and regulatory trends (e.g., sustainability, FDA, EPA, TSCA) to inform customer strategy and opportunity development.

Driving strong commercial execution through accurate forecasting, CRM management, pricing strategy and cross‑functional alignment with Supply Chain, Finance and Customer Service.
Qualifications

5+ years of experience in B2B sales, account management or technical sales within chemicals, plastics additives, polymer science or materials engineering.

Strong understanding of the plastics value chain, including compounding, masterbatch, and processing technologies (injection molding, extrusion, blow molding).

Proven ability to translate technical concepts into compelling commercial value propositions.

Demonstrated track record of revenue growth and customer relationship expansion.

Excellent communication, negotiation and business planning skills, with CRM proficiency (Salesforce, Dynamics or similar).

Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Polymer Science, Materials Engineering or related field preferred.

Willingness to travel 30–50% across North America.
Requirements

The expected salary range for this role is 97,000-136,000 but specific employee compensation may vary depending on factors including experience, education, training, licensure, certification, location and other job‑related, non‑discriminatory factors permitted by law.
