[Hiring] Municipal Sales Manager @SJE Inc.

Role Description

As our Municipal Sales Manager, your primary role will be building and maintaining relationships with current and potential customers through meetings, emails, or phone calls to meet or exceed established sales goals. You will:

• Promote SJE’s Controls and Level Sensing Technologies (CLT) products within the municipal water and wastewater industry.
• Work with customers to find solutions to their problems.
• Conduct in-house and out-of-house product training for employees, distributors, and end users.
• Analyze market trends to identify new product ideas.
• Work with the Product Management and Marketing Teams to develop value propositions & case studies.
• Plan/represent SJE at regional and national trade shows.
• Develop and plan regional and national distribution meetings across the region.

Qualifications

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• A natural drive to succeed and be very well organized.
• A high level of technical automation competence to support customer and company needs.
• An understanding of rep management, know your territory, and be able to build relationships.
• A 2-year technical degree or 4-year bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7-10 years of experience is preferred.

Requirements

• Monday – Friday 8:00 am – 5:00 pm.
• Up to 50%+ travel in your first year.
• Up to 120 hours of Paid Time Off in your first year plus 8 paid holidays.
