[Hiring] Mortgage Sales Assistant Senior @Associated Bank

Role Description

Support mortgage loan originators by managing loan pipelines, ensuring documentation is complete, and keeping transactions moving toward closing. You’ll play a key role in delivering a seamless client experience through proactive communication and organization. This role offers strong exposure to the mortgage process and opportunities to grow within the business.

This position requires a credit check per 12 CFR Chapter X, Part 1026, Truth in Lending, Regulation Z.

Operates in full compliance with internal policies and procedures as well as applicable regulations and laws, including but not limited to Bank Secrecy Act/Anti-Money Laundering and S.A.F.E. Act requirements. Must submit required information to meet registry requirements, obtain a unique identifier, and maintain the registration requirements as directed by the S.A.F.E Act.

Key Accountabilities

• Manage loan pipeline activities to ensure files progress efficiently from application to closing
• Coordinate and verify all client documentation to meet underwriting requirements
• Communicate regularly with clients, Realtors, and attorneys to provide status updates
• Support loan originators with data entry, loan applications, and processing activities
• Schedule closings and coordinate with all parties to ensure smooth transactions
• Track appraisals and ensure timely delivery and necessary updates to loan files
• Maintain accurate loan data in the origination system and ensure compliance standards are met
• Assist with marketing efforts and client database management to support business growth

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree in Business, Finance, or equivalent experience
• 2+ years of mortgage support, customer service, or administrative experience
• Ability to meet S.A.F.E. Act registration requirements, including credit check compliance
• Experience supporting mortgage loan originators or working in a lending environment (Preferred)
• Familiarity with loan origination systems and underwriting processes (Preferred)
