Planned Parenthood of Florida is seeking a relationship-driven Major Gifts Officer to join our Development team. This fully remote position may be based anywhere in Florida and plays a key role in advancing our mission by building meaningful relationships with donors and securing transformational philanthropic support. Key Accountabilities

Manage and grow a portfolio of major donors and prospects capable of making gifts of $10,000 and above through thoughtful cultivation, solicitation, stewardship, and relationship management.

Develop and implement strategic fundraising plans that strengthen donor engagement and support long-term philanthropic growth.

Build and maintain meaningful relationships with donors, prospects, volunteers, board members, and community stakeholders.

Partner with the Senior Director of Major Gifts, Development team, and Planned Parenthood Federation of America to develop and execute donor strategies.

Prepare donor proposals, stewardship reports, briefing materials, and personalized donor communications.

Track donor activity and maintain accurate records within Salesforce and other fundraising systems.

Identify, qualify, cultivate, and steward new major gift prospects while strengthening the donor pipeline.

Collaborate with internal teams to coordinate donor visits, cultivation opportunities, and fundraising events.

Represent Planned Parenthood of Florida at donor meetings, events, and community functions throughout Florida.

Support organizational fundraising initiatives while demonstrating a strong commitment to Planned Parenthood's mission, values, equity, and inclusion.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business, Nonprofit Management, Marketing, Communications, or a related field. Relevant experience may be substituted on a year-for-year basis.

Three to five years of portfolio management and/or direct donor relationship management experience required.

Demonstrated success cultivating, soliciting, and closing five and six figure gifts.

Experience developing donor strategies using best practices in moves management.

Strong relationship building and networking skills with the ability to engage diverse stakeholders.

Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills.

Outstanding organizational and project management abilities with the capacity to manage multiple priorities.

Experience qualifying prospective donors through research and relationship development.

Experience using donor databases or CRM systems, preferably Salesforce.

Ability and willingness to travel throughout Florida as required to support donor engagement and fundraising activities.

Strong understanding of and personal commitment to reproductive rights and the mission of Planned Parenthood.

Benefits

Annual starting salary of $100,000, commensurate with experience.
