[Hiring] LAC Storage Sales Manager @Trina Solar

Role Description

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for Trina Storage in Mexico, aligned with regional growth and order intake targets.
• Identify, develop and convert utility-scale BESS opportunities, building a strong and qualified sales pipeline.
• Develop relationships with key customers and stakeholders, including developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs and strategic partners.
• Manage target accounts and drive customer engagement across commercial, technical and executive levels.
• Lead the end-to-end sales process, from opportunity identification and qualification through proposal, negotiation, contract execution and project handover.
• Coordinate RFQs/RFPs and prepare budgetary and firm commercial proposals in collaboration with Sales Engineering, Product, Legal, Finance and other internal teams.
• Lead commercial negotiations and support contract closure, ensuring alignment on pricing, scope, risk and contractual requirements.
• Maintain accurate opportunity forecasting, pipeline management and account planning.
• Monitor market trends, customer requirements, competitors, pricing and technology developments to support Trina Storage's commercial strategy and product positioning.
• Support the transition from sales to project execution teams, ensuring a smooth project handover.
• Represent Trina Storage at customer meetings, industry conferences, trade shows and other relevant industry events.
• Provide regular business updates and forecasts to the Head of Storage LAC.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, Economics or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience in sales or business development within renewable energy, energy storage, power generation, EPC or related industries.
• Proven experience managing complex B2B sales processes and large-scale energy projects.
• Experience with BESS and utility-scale energy storage is highly preferred.
• Strong commercial and analytical skills, including experience with pricing, business cases and commercial proposals.
• Ability to manage multiple opportunities, customers and tenders simultaneously.
• Strong negotiation, communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Existing network with Mexican developers, IPPs, utilities, EPCs and energy-sector stakeholders is highly valued.
• Good understanding of the Mexican power market and regulatory environment is a strong advantage.
• Native or fluent Spanish and advanced English required.
• Willingness to travel within Mexico and internationally as required.
