Role Description

This is an exciting job opportunity for you to light the way as a Key Account Manager at Modular Lighting in Spain (Islas Baleares, Valencia or Andalucía) with Signify.

We are on the lookout for an enthusiastic and dynamic salesperson who has a love for design and an interest in technical aspects, and who is looking for a home-based role in Spain.

In this role, we offer a fixed-term contract of 6 months, full-time, and you will report to the Sales leader EXPORT, who is based in Belgium.

As a KAM, you are responsible for attracting, captivating, and maintaining our prescribing audience in the area of Islas Baleares, Valencia or Andalucía in Spain. In this role, you are the creative partner in lighting design for our clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Assisting, guiding, and inspiring architects and designers.
• Visiting and managing prescribers of our products: architects, interior architects, and partners.
• Following up on your projects from advising on prescribing to delivery.
• Following new trends and market developments.
• Independently managing your network and working closely with the bigger team in Modular.

Key responsibilities include:

• Strategy Development: Re-develop our distribution network of value-added partners in the Mediterranean Sea area.
• Lead Generation: Inspire and educate prescribers and partners with our products and services.
• Creating Opportunities: Search for opportunities and invest time and energy in projects where we can win.
• Stakeholder Management: Connect with all decision-makers within a project.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in Interior design/architecture, lighting design, or account management.
• At least 3 years of working experience in a similar KAM role doing external Sales.
• Basic knowledge of architectural lighting with the ability to inspire as well as guide in technical topics.
• Experience in lighting is a plus; interest in technology and a love for design is a must.
• Having an active network among specifiers and product or market knowledge would be a big plus.
• Fluent in both Spanish and English.
• Strong communication skills, adaptable to different audiences.
• Driven, able to work independently, and commercially strong.
• Proactive and able to manage time autonomously.
• Result-oriented with a positive attitude, problem solver, and proactive.
• Team-player mentality.
• Located in Illes Balears, Valencian, or Andalusia.
