Role Description
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced OEM Key Account Manager, ideally based in the South Central or Midwest United States. In this role, you will be responsible for managing and expanding both existing and new Sensata Industrial key accounts, with a primary focus on developing and winning new business for mission-critical, sensor-rich solutions.

Develop and win new business for sensor-rich solutions

Work closely with leading OEMs and globally recognized brands across HVAC, appliance, data center, and diversified industrial markets

Identify growth opportunities aligned with customer business strategies and technical requirements

Translate customer needs into actionable opportunities for Sensata

Build strong, trusted relationships at all organizational levels

Drive growth and contribute meaningfully to the organization
Qualifications

A university degree required (i.e. Bachelor's degree) or equivalent relevant work experience

Minimum 3 years experience in technical sales, preferred

Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation

Strong organization, planning and time management skills

Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity

Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)

Strong interpersonal & collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization
Requirements

Responsible for new account development and/or expanding existing accounts within an established geographic territory/product line

Pursue sales leads

Lead visits to existing and new customers

Analyze customer needs and suggest appropriate products and services

Respond to customer enquiries and conclude sales orders to meet established revenue targets

Innovate and create sales skills and knowledge of the organization's products, services, and customers

Perform supplier audits on site at distributor warehouse locations

Identify and implement efficiency opportunities such as distributor dashboards

Initiate regular communication with distributors to mitigate shipment errors and discrepancies
