Role Description

As a Key Account Executive at CookUnity, you will play a pivotal role in driving enterprise healthcare sales. Your primary focus will be on building and managing relationships with:

  • Hospitals and health systems
  • Provider groups
  • Mental health & substance use residential programs
  • Health plans

You will leverage your experience in enterprise sales to expand CookUnity's footprint in healthcare, delivering innovative food solutions that meet the needs of patients, providers, and payers.

Responsibilities

  • Drive revenue growth by developing and executing strategies to secure enterprise-level partnerships within healthcare.
  • Build the playbook for successfully selling into high-value customers and coach future Account Executives.
  • Build and nurture strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers, influencers, and stakeholders.
  • Identify and prioritize high-value opportunities, creating tailored solutions for healthcare organizations.
  • Manage the end-to-end sales process for enterprise deals, including lead generation, proposal development, contract negotiation, and closing.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with product, marketing, and operations teams.
  • Maintain a deep understanding of CookUnity’s offerings and the competitive landscape.
  • Consistently meet or exceed sales targets.
  • Provide ongoing insights and feedback to internal teams on trends, challenges, and opportunities within the healthcare space.
  • Develop and maintain accurate sales forecasts, leveraging CRM tools like Salesforce.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years of experience in enterprise sales with a proven track record of securing high-value deals.
  • Demonstrated success in selling to the healthcare sector.
  • Strong knowledge of the healthcare ecosystem, including regulatory environments and compliance.
  • Exceptional negotiation and communication skills.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools (e.g., Salesforce).
  • Strong track record of closing high-value deals from multiple sources.

Requirements

  • Food Service Operations & Management knowledge.
  • Experience working on enterprise deals exceeding $500K in total contract value.
  • Established network within the healthcare sector.
  • A passion for food and interest in the concept of β€œfood as medicine.”
  • Experience in start-up or high-growth environments.
