Role Description
We are looking to fill an Internal Wholesaler position for our Financial Institution distribution channel. This position will support and advise our sales force and home office associates in the sale of annuity products, with a high focus on providing exceptional phone support regarding product features, sales concepts, and doing business with MassMutual Ascend.

Partner with two external wholesalers in the Pacific Northwest and Four Corners regions to develop and execute a business plan aimed at maximizing territorial sales.

Provide sales and marketing support including the development and implementation of phone and email campaigns.

Respond to inquiries from producers regarding products and administrative processes, including the sales process.

Develop and explain product proposals and illustrations for producers.

Assist producers with case design and leverage our competitive positioning.

Conduct market research: profile agents and their business practices to identify and develop top producing agents.

Develop and maintain relationships with prospective and active producers in the territory.

Help increase premium within the territories by proactively reaching out to leads.

Provide feedback on new product and sales ideas.

Stay in tune with competition and their offerings.
Qualifications

Life and Health Agent License and Series 6 or 7 are required.

3-5 years of experience in marketing and sales, preferably in the insurance industry.

Effective telemarketing skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills (including presentation skills).

Ability to work effectively in a team environment and multi-task projects.

Knowledge of securities and insurance products, specifically annuities.

Creative problem-solving skills; able to effectively coordinate projects independently.
Requirements

Bachelorβs degree is preferred with a focus in Business or Marketing.

Professional designations such as CLU, CFP, ChFC, RICP or other through The American College or LOMA.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office products and experience with various insurance/annuity administration systems.

Experience with Salesforce is a plus.
