Join Thermo Fisher Scientific as an Inside Sales Representative II and be part of our mission to make the world healthier, cleaner and safer. In this role, you'll:

• Generate sales growth through virtual and digital channels.
• Build strong relationships with customers across academic, biotech, pharma, clinical and industrial markets.
• Promote and sell our comprehensive portfolio of scientific products and services.
• Use consultative selling skills to understand customer needs and provide optimal solutions.
• Develop and execute strategic sales plans.
• Manage customer relationships through our CRM system.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to achieve business targets.

Location: This is a remote position covering a central/mountain territory. Residency in the USA required within a central or mountain standard timezone. No relocation assistance provided.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Biology, Chemistry, or related field.
• Strong communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.
• 2+ years of sales experience, preferably within a related industry.
• Ability to learn technical products and apply consultative selling approaches.
• Solid understanding and proficiency in life sciences and/or the bioprocess industry to be able to serve as a resource for customers.

Requirements

• Engage customers and respond to product, quote, and technical inquiries.
• Identify and pursue new sales opportunities to grow your territory.
• Build relationships with scientists, purchasing, and supply chain teams.
• Develop and execute sales plans to meet or exceed targets.
• Maintain accurate customer data and pipeline activity in CRM systems.

Benefits

The hourly pay range estimated for this position based in Illinois is $25.00–$32.10. This position may also be eligible to receive a variable annual bonus based on company, team, and/or individual performance results in accordance with company policy.
