[Hiring] Individual and Family Plan Sales Representative Seasonal @eHealth

Role Description

As a Seasonal Individual and Family Plans (IFP) Sales Representative, you will be dedicated to one or more specific carriers. Your responsibilities include:

• Taking inbound calls and advising clients over the phone on their Individual and Family health insurance options specific to the assigned carrier.
• Possibly making outbound follow-up calls.
• Meeting performance-based measures of success including conversion, applications, member retention, and compliance.

Your initial training will provide a springboard into a successful career selling health insurance, with an extensive 4-week training program to get you up and running quickly!

This is a seasonal role that will begin June 29th and will end on December 16th.

Qualifications

• Active resident state health insurance license.
• Previous sales experience or a passion for learning and growing in a sales role.
• Strong technology skills; ability to navigate between multiple systems.
• Coachable and teachable.
• High level of integrity and customer focus; ability to maintain and exceed quality scores.
• Alignment with eHealth’s mission and demonstration of company values in behaviors, practices, and decisions.

Requirements

• Sales role within a call center environment.
• Workday spent on the phone answering calls from beneficiaries.
• Calls will be recorded and monitored.
• May be required to make outbound calls to follow up on leads and cross-sell ancillary products.
• Must meet daily sales metrics, goals, and carrier quality expectations.
• Good technological proficiency; ability to toggle between multiple computer applications and screens while on the phone.
• Must be able to work hours between 6:00 AM – 6:00 PM PST, including weekends and holidays as needed.
• Availability to work extended hours during the Open Enrollment Period (November 1st through December 15th).
