Role Description
The Indirect Sales Channel Consultant will report directly to the Manager - Indirect Sales to ensure that the indirect channel attains its stated revenue, agent development, and customer service objectives.

Provide assistance to agents, wholesale providers, and the Manager - Indirect Sales.

Drive agent portal development and provide support to the channel (both internal and external).

Conduct agent onboarding to ensure indirect partners have all the tools to meet sales objectives.

Submit orders for upgrades, adds, changes, and disconnect orders for existing wholesale accounts.

Manage agent opportunity requests and wholesale provider requests supporting the Manager - Indirect Sales and TDS product offerings.

Engage in presale and post-sale activities, including:

Drafting support material for presentations.

Creation and support of standard training material for product and promotional activities.

Proposal generation and drafting contracts.
-
Entering orders for existing wholesale accounts into Salesforce.

Acting as a key resource for agents on questions regarding agent leads.

Assist with order completion from contract to implementation by working closely with support teams within the sales organization.

Communicate effectively with agents and wholesale providers.
This position will work Monday - Friday, 8am - 5pm CST and has the ability to work remotely in any of the 40+ States in which TDS Telecom operates.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree (or higher) OR 4+ years professional work experience.

2+ years business-to-business customer service experience and/or sales experience.

1+ years experience in communications or a technology-based field.

Experience working in a sales or agent/wholesale environment is a plus.

Extensive computer application experience including Teams, Excel, Word, DocuSign, Salesforce, or similar CRM.

Must be versatile and interact well with a variety of people.

Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.

Ability to work independently.

Excellent organization and planning skills, follow through, and attention to detail.
