[Hiring] Head of Sales @Pexip

Role Description

As Head of Sales Pexip Engage, you will win new customers across European banking and insurance markets. You'll identify target accounts, build relationships with key decision-makers, and manage the full sales cycle — working closely with Engage leadership, product, and delivery teams to shape winning strategies and deliver results for customers.

This is initially a hands-on, individual-contributor role focused on new business development. As Pexip Engage scales, there will be opportunities to grow into broader commercial leadership.

What You’ll Be Doing

• Develop and execute the sales strategy for banking and insurance.
• Identify and engage target customers across Europe.
• Generate new business through proactive outreach, networking, referrals, and industry engagement, including targeted LinkedIn prospecting.
• Establish partnerships that accelerate growth.
• Own sales opportunities end-to-end, from first contact to contract signature.
• Collaborate with the Engage team on winning proposals and business cases.
• Maintain an accurate pipeline and forecasting process.
• Share market intelligence to inform product and commercial strategy.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful B2B sales experience in financial services.
• Existing relationships in banking and insurance and a solid understanding of the financial services landscape.
• Track record of generating new business and closing strategic deals.
• Experience managing complex, consultative sales processes with multiple stakeholders.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Dutch. Other languages like German, French, and Spanish are a plus.
