[Hiring] Head of Acquisitions @Rex

Role Description

Rex is seeking a Head of Acquisitions to drive direct origination and execution across its real estate investment platform. This is a front-line, deal-driving role responsible for finding, shaping, and advancing opportunities. The role is anchored by three mandates:

• Source aggressively
• Underwrite with conviction
• Close with urgency

You will hunt by building broker relationships, running outbound, and generating proprietary deal flow. This role owns outcomes across sourcing, underwriting, and execution, ensuring speed, discipline, and conviction at every stage of the deal lifecycle.

• Drive deals from first touch through LOI to close
• Coordinate internal stakeholders and external partners to win in competitive processes
• Operate with urgency, ownership, and accountability for sourcing volume and closed deal outcomes

Qualifications

• 7-8+ years of experience in real estate acquisitions, investment sales, brokerage, or a related field
• Background in multifamily real estate strongly preferred
• Bachelor’s degree required, preferably in finance, real estate, economics, or a related discipline
• Proven ability to originate deals through broker relationships and outbound efforts
• Strong underwriting capabilities with advanced proficiency in Excel
• Familiarity with key real estate tools and platforms such as Argus, CoStar, RealPage, Yardi, and CRM systems
• High relationship IQ with the ability to build credibility and trust with various stakeholders
