Role Description
As a Group Sales Agent, you have the exciting opportunity to engage with Youth and General Groups for a SeaWorld Parks and Entertainment park, as well as assisting Resellers. You’ll take on a variety of responsibilities to meet our internal and external guests’ expectations, while maximizing our revenue. You will:

Provide exceptional, professional guest service over the phones and in person

Handle inbound Group Sales and Education calls, assisting Resellers, Youth, and General Groups in booking their reservations in addition to answering general questions about the Park

Understand customer needs and proactively provide “upsell” opportunities during the booking process
-
Engage in outbound call and email campaigns to rebook Group business from previous year(s) and build sales funnel with new leads from provided lists
-
Understand and work on improving booking processes for guests to ensure seamless experience, easily change orders and purchase “upsells”

Work with Park on processes to ensure best day-of experience for guests
-
Create and maintain insightful reporting as needed to aid in strategic decisions
-
Process orders, research and solve problems that may occur within Group bookings
-
Perform data entry on new and existing contracted and non-contracted accounts
-
Process Hard Stock (BOCA) Group and Reseller ticket orders and in-park ticket requests
-
Process all payments including depositing check payments
-
Prepare orders for shipment with FedEx or pick up at Advance Sales ticket window

Reconcile daily MPR payments and report to Finance
-
EZTicket Support for all clients via phone and email
-
Administer several Outlook mailboxes, both internal and guest-facing

Data entry of every Group inquiry and booking in Delphi for tracking and reporting purposes as well as order entry in SAP

Point of Contact for refunds

Test orders for all parks
-
Assist Community Relations with all approved Donation Requests

Work with Manager and other departments to ensure smooth operation between different stakeholders in the Company

Assist in “as-needed” department activities such as working events, creating proposals, liaison with other departments, etc.

Other duties as assigned by management
Qualifications

Must have a high school diploma or equivalent
-
Must be at least 18 years old
-
Must have at least 1 year customer service and sales experience
-
Must have working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

Must have excellent written and verbal communication skills

Must have excellent organizational skills and be able to work independently, and on a team
-
Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality
-
Must be able to multi-task and adapt to changes in a fast-paced business environment
Requirements

Work flexible schedule/hours based on business need, to include opening, mid-, and closing shifts; nights, weekends, and holidays

Must be able to sit and/or stand for long periods of time
-
Must be comfortable with exposure to noise
-
Must be able to work indoors with A/C for entire shift
-
Must be comfortable in an office environment with exposure to fluorescent lighting for entire shift

Must be able to work remotely when needed
