The Roche Support Network is dedicated to providing exceptional support to customers. As a Field Applications Specialist - Tissue Diagnostics you will:

Act as the primary liaison/customer representative throughout the implementation process and future histology application support.

Plan and coordinate the implementation and customer training, as well as problem-solve issues that arise for customers throughout the life cycle of the solution.

Provide highly visible, self-supervised and self-directed, extensive on-site advisory customer support through the implementation of Roche Tissue instrumentation and tailored customer training.

Assess customer needs based on personnel, organizational structure, workflow, and maximization of equipment capabilities.

Act as an advisor on customer issues and drive efficiencies & optimization for the customer and Roche through independent analysis and problem-solving.

Identify opportunities for new system consumables for clients (i.e. reagents, primary antibodies, bio-markers, software) to increase sales revenue.

Perform job duties remotely and independently.

Utilize independent judgment and discretion in the analysis of customer needs and issues that arise during and after the implementation process.

Adapt procedures, processes, tools, equipment, and techniques to meet complex requirements.

Independently analyze and resolve most customer questions and problems, referring only the most complex issues to higher levels.

Maintain and continuously improve the quality system and achieve quality objectives through daily actions.

Regular and predictable attendance is an essential function of this highly responsible position.

This is a field-based role - the territory is the United States. 90% travel is expected for this position.

The ideal candidate for this role will reside in Boston or Cambridge, Massachusetts.
Qualifications

Bachelorβs degree in Medical Technology, Information Technology, Computer Science, Chemistry, Biology or Clinical Laboratory or equivalent work experience.

3+ years of experience implementing and evaluating complex laboratory, IT products, medical diagnostic equipment, reagents and/or systems.
Requirements

Experience with Pharma, Academia and research with Roche Discovery products.

Ability to learn and remain current on Roche solutions across various fields, including histology and discovery ultra.

Effective written and verbal communication skills, along with project management experience.

Strong customer consultative skills, including advanced scientific knowledge, exceptional customer engagement, and the ability to foster strong customer relationships.
Benefits

The expected salary range for this position based on the primary location of Massachusetts is $84,300.00 - $156,500.00.

Actual pay will be determined based on experience, qualifications, geographic location, and other job-related factors permitted by law.

A discretionary annual bonus may be available based on individual and Company performance.
