Master the art of building a sustainable, long-term sales practice

Uncapped commission structure and earning potential

$80,000/yr. - $100,000/yr. + commission and a comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and vision; paid vacation and holidays; and a 401K matching program.
As an AE you are the tip of the spear for the entire sales process and will effectively be building a “business within a business”.

Meeting with Clients:
Discuss “business” requirements, challenges, and objectives with customers, uncovering sales opportunities for our engineering services and technical solutions.

Structuring Deals:
Responsible for positioning deals to win, working with teams to drive funding, contracting, and engaging relevant stakeholders.

Market Research and Prospecting:
Researching and reaching out to prospects to open sales opportunities.

Networking:
Building a brand within the industry community through partnerships with OEMs, consultants, and VARs.

Continual Education:
Investing time into sales, industry, and OEM-specific training to improve value to customers and partners.

Sales Reporting:
Responsible for maintaining and updating the sales pipeline.

Collaborating with Other Departments:
Developing relationships and working closely with internal downstream partners (engineering, project management, post-sales operations, etc.).
Qualifications

High school diploma / GED
-
3+ years of recent Federal Market sales experience with a track record of selling advanced technology solutions OR recent experience working in a technical capacity for the Federal Government (either DoD, Intelligence, or Civilian agency).

Excellent solution/consultative selling capability

Demonstrated sales and account development experience with growth in both revenue and gross profit

Ability to balance multiple tasks with changing priorities

Attentive and responsive to internal and external communication to create an optimal customer experience

Experienced in working with customer, departmental, and executive staff

Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills

Must thrive in a fast-paced environment and balance multiple projects at once

Proactive approach to organization and problem solving

Ability to absorb technical information

Proficient with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint)
Preferred Experience
