Role Description
This is a remote position. International Insurance Group is seeking a disciplined, strategic, and technically sophisticated leader to oversee, align, and elevate our Trucking Division (Strategic Business Unit).

Responsible for the overall leadership, budget, and growth of this Division, which consists of approximately 50 staff and $45 million in annualized premium.

A core component of this role for the first 24 months is the structured training and development of new Trucking Sales Agents to ensure disciplined, profitable, and technically sound growth.

P&L Ownership & Margin Discipline: This role carries full P&L responsibility and will serve as the operational Integrator of the division, ensuring alignment between Sales, Retention, Service, and Underwriting.

Operational Alignment: Ensure day-to-day operations comply with industry regulations, optimizing workflows for maximum efficiency.

New Sales Agent Training & Development: The Division Leader will serve as the architect and leader of IIGโs Trucking New Sales Agent Training Program.

Carrier & Market Relationships: Build and maintain relationships with key clients, insurance carriers, brokers, and stakeholders.
Qualifications

5+ yearsโ experience in Trucking Insurance.

Proven experience managing high-performing teams and achieving organizational growth, with direct reports is a must!

Professional experience running a trucking insurance operation (preferred).

Bachelorโs degree in Business, Finance, or Insurance (MBA preferred).

Strong sales, negotiation, communication, interpersonal, and data analysis abilities.

Proficient in insurance software and technology solutions.
