[Hiring] District Sales Manager @Vatech America

Role Description

• Proactively identify changes in the marketplace and competitive pressures and develop and modify strategies and tactics accordingly.
• Meet/exceed monthly, quarterly, and annual sales forecasts.
• Maintain competitive knowledge to create and adjust sales strategies.
• Travel through assigned territory to call on regular and prospective customers to solicit orders or communicate with customers by phone.
• Attend clinical meetings, seminars, tradeshows, and conferences as appropriate.
• Compile lists of prospective customers for use as sales leads, based on information from Vatech’s pipeline system, business directories, industry ads, trade shows, Internet Web sites, and other sources.
• Collaborate with other Vatech sales team members in mutual support of the sales team.
• Study data describing new procedures and products to develop a sales approach.
• Advise customers of equipment for given needs based on the technical knowledge of products.
• Display or demonstrate product(s) and emphasize features.
• Provide customers with cost analysis.
• Develop goodwill to support customer loyalty.
• Quote prices and credit terms and prepare sales contracts for orders obtained.
• Estimate delivery dates to customers, based on knowledge of Vatech’s production and delivery schedules.
• Maintain customer data and other sales data for current customers in Vatech’s pipeline system.
• Any other duties which may be required of the position.
