Role Description
Provide dealers with aftermarket parts management support in the areas of parts sales, customer service, and business performance. Assist dealers in implementing programs and growing parts sales. This DPM position will work closely with DPMβs in abutting regions to support dealer groups with APAβs that cross regional boundaries.

Improve operational performance of parts department at the dealer level.

Initiate innovative methods of changing dealer behavior to meet national aftermarket standards of parts performance.

Conduct operations audits and provide recommendations for corrective action based on formal analysis of results.

Establish harmonious relationship with Dealer Principal and Parts Manager.

Provide headquarters staff with ongoing field intelligence on program effectiveness, training requirements, market trends, end-customer behavior, and competitive activities.

Provide management advice to dealer personnel to realize marketing and financial goals in parts.

Recommend changes in facilities, personnel, and business planning as required.

Conduct financial analysis of dealer parts business and make recommendations for improvements.

Assist dealer/distributor personnel in the development of an annual business plan for parts.

Actively promote and assist dealer parts sales efforts on a regular basis.

Initiate the development of sales and merchandising programs on dealer level.

Provide market analysis service to assist dealers in the development and execution of effective aftermarket parts marketing plans.

Monitor performance and modify departmental efforts as required.

Regularly call on end customers with dealer sales/service personnel.

Analyze customer needs to determine effectiveness of aftermarket's support to end customers.

Analyze dealer systems requests and questions to determine complexity of issues.

Analyze and forward dealer requests for technical/managerial training.

Actively promote and support headquarters training programs.

Serve as technical consultant concerning all company and dealer related systems activities.

Work closely with corporate office on projects specific to improving communication processes with dealers/distributors.

Elevate dealer sales effectiveness by deploying current DTNA sales programs.

Responsible to manage average of $100 million territory with an average of 21 locations in the district.
Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or related field.

5+ years of prior work experience related to sales.
Requirements

Strong oral and written communication skills and presentation skills.

Ability to work at all levels of the organization and with cross-functional areas.

Able to work, and prioritize tasks independently.

Working knowledge of DTNA's Paragon parts system.

Strong sales track record and product sales background.

Starting salary range of $95,000 to $121,000 USD.
