Role Description
Promevo is looking for a Director of Sales, Expansion who will be responsible for leading, managing, and developing a team of Expansion Account Executives to drive revenue growth within Promevo's existing client base. This role oversees account expansion strategy, pipeline execution, and co-selling alignment with Google field teams. The Expansion Director actively supports high-value sales opportunities, provides executive representation across account portfolios, and leads cross-selling efforts across Promevo's solution offerings.
Duties and Responsibilities

Lead and develop the team:

Hire, coach, and manage a team of Expansion Account Executives.

Manage to individual and team quotas, run pipeline and forecast reviews, and build a culture of accountability and consistent overachievement.

Own the expansion number:
-
Carry ultimate accountability for the team's expansion/cross-sell bookings target, net revenue retention, pipeline coverage, and forecast accuracy, reporting regularly to senior leadership.

Drive full-stack account growth:

Ensure the team consistently identifies and closes cross-sell and upsell opportunities across all three lines of business β first-party SaaS products, cloud engineering services, and Google resale.

Scale the joint Google field motion:

Build and systematize the process by which Expansion AEs align with their assigned Google field teams on account growth plans and jointly execute them.

Shape go-to-market strategy:

Help build account segmentation, coverage model, and expansion playbooks for the team in partnership with Customer Success, Marketing, Partner, and Sales Operations leadership.

Champion the full portfolio:

Ensure the team can credibly position and sell across Promevo's cloud engineering services, first-party SaaS products, and Google resale offerings β with particular fluency in agentic AI platforms like Gemini Enterprise.

Lead from the front on strategic deals:

Engage directly with AEs on complex, large, or executive-level expansion opportunities β participating in key client meetings, negotiations, and account growth strategy.

Protect and grow account health:
-
Partner closely with your team to ensure account health and retention are strong foundations for the team's expansion motion.

Cross-functional alignment:
-
Partner with Solutions Architecture, Services Delivery, Client Success, Marketing, and Google's partner organization to ensure a strong account-growth-to-close-to-delivery motion and a consistent customer experience.

Reporting and forecasting:

Maintain rigorous CRM hygiene and pipeline discipline across the team; deliver accurate, timely forecasts and performance reporting to executive leadership.
Qualifications
-
8+ years of enterprise or strategic sales experience, including 4+ years in a sales leadership/management role carrying a team quota.

Prior experience at a hyperscaler (Google Cloud, AWS, Microsoft/Azure) or a cloud partner organization strongly preferred.

Demonstrated success building and scaling relationships with hyperscaler field/partner teams.

Track record of hiring, coaching, and retaining high-performing AEs.

Experience leading enterprise sales, account management, expansion, or customer growth teams.

Strong working knowledge of cloud computing concepts and the competitive landscape.

Experience leading teams that sell a mix of services and software/licensing is a strong plus.

Executive presence and comfort representing the business at Google- and client-facing events.

Proficiency with CRM and sales engagement/forecasting tools.

Willingness to travel for client meetings, team support, and events as needed.
Preferred Qualifications

Existing relationships within the Google Cloud partner ecosystem or Google field/partner organization.

Experience building or scaling an expansion/account growth team from the ground up.

Google Cloud sales or product certifications.

Experience leading teams selling into healthcare, financial services, technology or consumer platform verticals.
